raleigh cat

I participated in another alley cat yesterday, and a very well executed one at that. This one was headed up by The Raleigh Boys Club. There were 120 riders, 30 volunteers manning checkpoints, and a bunch of sponsors that made it all happen. All the checkpoints and tasks were fun, as was the after party. Definitely a good day for the ever growing bike community around Raleigh.

One of the checkpoints consisted of getting a picture taken by Joshua Hoffman at a temporary outdoor studio setup. Check them out here, they all look really good. I jacked one of his photos for the flyer I made advertising the last alley cat, sorry.

I don't know what place I came in, but I was racer #69...again

my racing partner brian sappie

also, one of my friends found a picture someone had taken of me during some past first friday ride downtown. I was completely unaware of the fact that it existed until they showed me on facebook, which is kinda creepy.

a remix worth blogging about

(ray's remix)
i mixed some stuff and I really like it, how about you?
does it make you want to do this?

does the original leave something more to be desired now?
(original)
do you listen to the original before the remix or vice versa?

let me know if the player doesn't work.
laptop speakers just won't do this one justice.
i ask questions because i want to rack up comments see who's reading/interact with everyone reading this.

blog layout

so I was going html crazy and fucked up my blog layout at some point to the point of no return (I usually don't know what I'm doing and just get lucky), but was thinking of completely overhauling it anyways. I'll introduce my new method of updating when I find some freetime, which I have a lot of.

a video worth blogging about

went out with pedram and sappie to sneak into and explore a secret abandoned restaurant we found, but I guess someone figured out that we and possibly other kids have been getting in and loitering. So instead we made a video, but not really. It's actually a bunch of pictures [via brian sappie]

oh, and i'll just leave this here...

girls + bikes = attractive!

Goodbye Wii

If microsoft's new project didn't already surpass nintendo's technology, sony certainly has:

good thing I have a ps3...

and this was a live demonstration so you know that it actually works.

meanwhile nintendo has to offer an attachment that can read your pulse via your finger. The possibilities are soo exciting...
